MakesMe.Me
A film for the bilingual wellbeing platform I founded. It explains the product without sounding like an explainer.
John's five year plan is the photocopier. Then the Lucky bot pays out, and John gets a supercar, a very loud shirt and his colleague's doughnut.
It's built like a sitcom cold open: deadpan close-ups at the copier, a black card that says "5 YEAR", another that says "PLAN", and a man who has clearly made his peace with it. Then he opens the Lucky bot on his phone, hits the jackpot and punches the air in the middle of the office.
The grade does half the comedy. The office is cold fluorescent blue right up until the win, and then everything goes saturated sunshine, from the cobalt supercar on a palm-lined road to the Hawaiian shirt he wears back into work.
